I have been MIA for some time, really I had a lag in even doing art and that is just plain sad. I found my hands shaking little bits and tying to use a tablet pen with that happening is annoying then frustrating then depressing. Looking at all the messages and my old stuff makes me nostalgic and I am happy to say I have been working again at art. On Paper with pens, paint and wishing for a large lump of clay. I really want to try to use clay but it will have to wait.

I have been trying, practicing to make mandalas. Mostly I keep doing Natures first pattern over and over until I manage to get it perfect then I will paint it. I got inspired from www.charlesgilchrist.com/ and his work. I was blown away and felt the tickle of the old art attack. I was sooooooooooooooo happy to even feel the urge. I admit it I have been depressed and am working on it. Art helps, I forgot how simple it is to loose a day just immersing yourself in something art wise.

So I will post what I do, and I do have a load of pictures I have still been taking that I should add. Thanks for all the comments, faves and watches while I was away. Art still goes on even when you put your head in the sand!

As to what is happening in the world all I can say is people stay safe, be careful, love your family and friends and hope for a better future, then work on making it that way.

I fear for the future with the people who keep all the powers to hold us tightly in their hands. When fighting, make sure it is in defense of those you love, not in defense of the money you love.  Hold life and respect for others high, turn your back on the ignorence that binds us apart. One day a day will come, A day of a great sigh of peace, we will not be labled by our countries, religious freedom no longer have the power to tear this world apart. When that day comes we will see ourselvs as a whole. Each part of our differences will make that beautifl wholeness. That day will show us we are just Humans, Living on the same small planet working together with it to keep the balance we are so sorely missing right now.

December has come and the world is cold and using a lot of electricity. Northern hemisphere at least is. Canada it self is rocked in places with -50c, or under several feet of snow. In my little spot it is cold, but not to bad. The snow is covering the mangy looking yards and is still in its nice looking stage.
My son was complaining the other night about the lack of Christmas in the school. All parties, concerts and pageants are now cancelled. Devon's class did a secret Santa, participation on parental agreement.  I commiserated with him but silently I was pleased. There are to many cultures meshing together to have to have others beliefs and holidays shoved down their throats. Besides, I was the mother who refused to lie about Santa. I also debunked Christmas down to its mistakes in history and amalgamation of other holidays and days of sun worship into their calender. Jesus was not born Dec 24th as much as many people refuse to believe it, It was march. I did not take everything away from him, we have the xmas get up rigging the house, his father has turned into a xmasy kind of guy. We have a tree (fake, why kill a poor tree), and such. I just told him what people have made is a time for families, we take this time out to show our love for each other. What everyone else does with their families is fine, just like what we do is to. No matter how different it seems on the outside, inside it is all the same.

Blurry eyed I click on the DA hotlink and see 26 note messages. I know it is not a DD, I know I did not post anything in a month so I figured it was stock in another contest req. Nope it is messages saying that 26 if my pic's have been reported and deleted. This does mean someone sat there seriously not liking me and reported them, going through each page of my deviations well over 240 of them. Yes they were altered lines from manga, some completely drawn over by hand, or with pen tool I mean. Others were just altered , cleaned up ( which can take hours) then colored. I won't be pulling some emo crap screaming for vengeance. Neither will I delete the rest of my work here vowing never to return, nor shall I even bother contesting them. I just think it is kinda lame, besides the fact that I have not bothered with manga line arts in well over a year so I guess that helps me not care so much. The only sad thing is that a few of the pictures were the only things I got fave's on ever....... I can only assume I wont be getting much anymore. LOL go figure.
