SpeedPaint 1 - Skyscape

This is one of the many speed paints I have attempted in the last month or so. To be honest most were scraped and never saved, others I just focused on a specific thing to learn how I can render said item best. I used a reference, the link below. This was a basic guide for Ideas, I did not do it exactly. If I tried to do it exactly I would never have gotten anywhere. I have had issues with hand stability lately, so exact precision has been harder for me, causing great frustrations. So I threw the precision Idea in the garbage and decided to just go with it as it came out on the screen. This took close to two hours, but that is inc the original base I did and scrapped. Not really speedy, but not really slow

I used a new program, well new to me TwistedBrush Open studio [link]
I found it a lot like Painter in its basic way of behaving, there are a great deal of differences of course. This program is for the painter, or artist who wants a real possible traditional feel. There are 5 or 6 basic brushes inc with the free program, the one you buy has 5000 brushes and you can just buy brush packs, I did this all with the basic brush and the airbrush, with the water blender to blend . I needed a new program because I only have corel photo-paint 12 and it preforms like shitte with vista OS. since I switched over I have had a lot of crashes , even with the patches. At any rate Twisted brush is a great program, that is free!
